An Open Design Project

Introduction:

In the other Design Projects in this class, you were given specifications to meet in your design. In this project you and your team will first decide on a project that interests your team. This design will:

• Be interesting to your team members
• Be comparable in complexity to the more ambitious of the other projects
• Be scoped so that your team can complete the work in the allotted time
• about 5 weeks elapsed time
• 3 in-lab weeks are dedicated to this effort. Team effort will need to be also done outside of class time.
• If you have a team project assigned in one of your lecture courses, you may choose to use that project as your final design project for our lab.

Deliverables (Team uploads to Blackboard):

1. A set of team meeting notes that document your design process
2. A full lab report like those required for the other projects
3. A PowerPoint-based group presentation

Your team presentations will take place via Zoom before Finals week.
