As soon as the mouse cursor is placed over the viewing screen a vector will appear. A single click of the left-side of the mouse will fix the vector. Immediately another vector will appear, which can be oriented using the mouse. Clicking the mouse a second time will add the two vectors.

To see the vertical and horizontal component vector lengths choose the button titled Display.
